Walking with God: Episode 7

Joe describes how broken he felt when he came to know the Lord. Feelings of abandonment and being lost caused him to seek Christ. He knew very little about God. All he remembered were things he had heard over the years. His knowledge about God was nothing more than a distant memory. Today Joe can say that through prayer he feels the closeness of a relationship with God. He expresses how when he calls out to God, he feels that God truly hears him. Joe’s personal relationships have also been restored because of God. Once in Joe’s life, his own mother had abandoned him. But today, Joe has repaired the damage from the past. He is now welcome in his mother’s home and even has his own room!
There is very little we can be sure of in our lives. Yet there is one thing we do know. When we call out to Christ, He hears us. It is through the comfort we receive from His presence, that we have strength to persevere.

“The eyes of the Lord are too the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry”
-Psalm 34:15

Restoring the Gospel: Episode 5

Here it is! The day we have all been waiting for. April 20th, 2014 Grace Gospel Fellowship opened the doors to their new home. After years of prayer and many months of construction, the doors were opened to the public. Over 1000 people arrived this Sunday. Over 100 had to be turned away due to lack of room. What a glorious day! On Easter Sunday we praise God because this is the day He rose from the grave. With Him came life!

We just want to say thank you to everyone that helped to make this day what it was. Thank you to the Luther family for their donation. Thank you to every laborer that put it in the countless hours. Thank you to all the people that prayed for this day. Thank you to everyone who believed it could never happen. What a great God we serve! He is the God of this city!

“If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer”

-Matthew 21:12

Restoring the Gospel: Episode 1

The gospel is Jesus Christ states that through Christ, those people that are of the world and those that are dead in the world are given life through Him. Those at Grace Centers of Hope have come to be given new life and for many years, right across the street there is a church that was turned into a bar. Pastor Clark and those at Grace Gospel Fellowship have held onto their belief for many years that God would turn Clutch Cargo’s back into a church and it is through the love and support of the Luther family that this dream and this hope finally came to pass. We look at this building, not just as a place with four walls that we go to worship, we look to this building as a promise from God that He will do that which He promises and He will bring life to the things that were once dead. The first church service will officially be held on Easter Sunday of 2014 and stay tuned as you can watch with us, the restoration of this building, the restoration of many lives, and the restoration of the gospel.

“For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”

Walking with God: Episode 1

Brad Jones shares his faith in Christ and shares about his relationship with God, who is not only his friend but also his strength. Each of us has a special calling on our life and each of us also has a unique relationship with Jesus Christ. Brad shares that it is through surrender to the call of God on our lives that we are given the ability to see the world through His eyes and to walk with Him daily, whether that means having faith that through trials and tribulations that God is working out and perfecting His will in our lives or simply asking daily, “Lord, what would you have me do for you today?”

Brad also shares that even through his failures he finds the way to fight through it and to always walk on the path God has laid before him, knowing that God is still working through him because he knows that whatever it is that he is led to do, it all for God and His glory.

Each of us walks daily with the Lord, and it is through sharing our struggles and our strengths with one another that we have fellowship and understanding and love as the body of Christ and we hope that through this, we can help to encourage one another and to help one another.

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you encounter trials of any kind and be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith brings out endurance and steadfastness and patience. But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work so that you may be made perfect and lacking nothing.”

– James 1:2-4

Discovering Redemption

There is a moment in all of our lives when we look back and ask, “how have all the things i’ve encountered in my past be part of Gods plan?” In this video Ginger takes us on a journey through her past to reveal the ultimate answer to that. She was introduced to drugs and alcohol at a younger age than most, leading her down a path of self destruction that engulfed her entire life. These choices didn’t just harm her physically but emotionally as well. When she was at her most desperate moment, working as a waitress to support her drug habit, a stranger came to her with hope. He offered her a chance to finally get her life back on track. It wasn’t going to be easy nor happen quickly. It would take time, causing her to revisit many demons that once claimed her mind and spirit. That stranger was Pastor Kent Clark, CEO of Grace Centers of Hope and senior pastor at Grace Gospel Fellowship. After realizing her current path was leading to death she quit her job and her habit and went to Grace Centers of Hope. It was there that she discovered redemption through Christ. Everything that she had been through in life lead her to this moment, a moment when the Lord revealed that He had been with her through every hardship and emotionally crippling moment she had endured…ever. Forever changed and forever His warrior Ginger had a new life breathed into her and continues to this day to mentor others that have went through similar circumstances.
